On September 24, 1997, with the birth and development of Ton Duc Thang University, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities proudly is one of the first departments of the school named Chairman Ton Duc Thang. The Faculty has contributed to the development of the school over the years. With a comprehensive human development strategy in mind, strength, capacity, and building a modern science, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities has built a sufficient number of teachers and quality standards. professional training, high professional level, continuous innovation, and innovation to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) was established on 24th, September 1997. During the past development, our Faculty is a key center of Ton Duc Thang University for training and for scientific research with high quality and multi discipline. It currently offers three undergraduate programs including Sociology, Social Work, and Vietnamese studies. In addition, the Faculty is responsible for giving lectures on Marxism – Leninism and HCM’s thought and Supporting skills to students of all disciplines on campus.
