Acceptance Meeting of faculty-levelScientific Research Projects amongst Students within academic years 2020-2021

Over academic years 2020-2021, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities has received nine research projects from three majors of Sociology, Vietnamese Studies and Social Work with a participation aggregate of twenty four students. Granted, the academic year has been severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic; that said, nine research groups of students have their own research completed and accepted on schedule under the zeal instructions of their lecturers.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak and compliance with Government’s Directives 15 and 16 on social distancing from May 31, 2021, The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities held an Acceptance Meeting of the Faculty-level Scientific Research amongst Students online via Google Meeting on June 7, 2021. The Acceptance Council consists of Dr. Le Hai Thanh (chairman of the council), Dr. Le Thi Mai and Mr. Nguyen Hieu Tin, Msc. (member of the council).

As a result, the Council appraised nine projects that were nominated as the Faculty-level Bronze and proposed top three of them to attend the Acceptance Meeting on University-level Student Research.

In the hope that with particular endeavours and enthusiasm for scientific research, three scientific research projects will be well-approved in the the Acceptance Meeting on University-level Student Research held in July 2021.

The promotion of the Scientific Research among students indicates that FSSH has been in active involvement in the University’s Research Plan as well as fulfilling Ton Duc Thang University’s goal as a research university in the future.
