The 10th Annual Talented Tour Guide Contest 2025 Successfully Held at TDTU
On May 20, 2025, the 10th Annual Talented Tour Guide Contest took place successfully. This prestigious academic competition, held annually for tourism students, aims to provide a dynamic platform for participants to sharpen their professional skills, showcase creativity, and demonstrate stage presence in the role of a professional tour guide.
The event was honored to welcome the presence of Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan, Dean’s Assistant; MSc. Nguyen Hieu Tin - Deputy Head of the Tourism Department and in charge of the Tourism Department; Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao - Deputy Head of the Tourism Department; along with faculty members and staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The Organizing Committee was also pleased to welcome representatives from industry partners, including Vietluxtour Travel Joint Stock Company and Doc Dao Tourism Joint Stock Company, as well as alumni, former champions of previous contests, and over 100 enthusiastic supporters.
The contest received strong support from a distinguished panel of judges, including:
- MSc. Nguyen Hieu Tin – Deputy Head of the Tourism Department and in charge of the Tourism Department
- Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Thao – Sales Director, Vietluxtour Travel Joint Stock Company
- Ms. Dao Phuong Dung – Operations Director, Doc Dao Travel Joint Stock Company
After three exciting, emotional, and intense rounds, the contest concluded with a spectacular final night that celebrated the outstanding achievements of the most talented contestants:
- Champion : Le Thao Nhi
- First Runner-up : Huynh Khai Minh
- Second Runner-up : Nguyen Van Nhi
- Encouragement Awards : Doan Kieu Anh and Nguyen Duc Thuan
Throughout the competition, the contestants demonstrated remarkable confidence, knowledge, and captivating presentation skills. The contest served not only as a platform for competition but also as a meaningful opportunity to inspire professional passion, awaken aspirations, and foster the dedication of tourism students.
