2025 Alumni Gathering of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities – “Alumni Connect”
On the morning of October 18, 2025, at Hall 10F, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) solemnly organized the 2025 Alumni Gathering Program under the theme “Alumni Connect”.
The event brought together more than 150 alumni from the Faculty, spanning from its very first intake in 1998 to recent graduates, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, reminiscing shared memories while looking ahead to new initiatives that strengthen alumni engagement.
Representing the University, the program was honored to welcome MA. Dang Thi Kim Anh – Head of the Department of Student affairs; Mr. Tang Khac Quy – Director of the Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni; and MA. Tran Thi Ngoc Hien – Head of the President's Office Staff.
From the Faculty, the gathering was attended by Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong – Dean, Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan – Dean’s Assistant, along with heads of departments, lecturers, and administrative staff of the Faculty.
In an atmosphere that was both formal and heartfelt, the event featured several meaningful activities:
- Presentation of the 2024–2025 Alumni Activity Report.
- Launch of the 2025–2026 Alumni Engagement Plan.
- Sharing and contributions from alumni toward the development of the Faculty’s alumni network.
- Introduction of the 2025–2026 Faculty Alumni Liaison Committee.
- Award ceremony for the photo contest “My Beloved Memory”, where moments of student life were beautifully and emotionally revisited.
- Heartfelt reflections from alumni representatives, expressing pride and deep connection with the Faculty.
- Introduction of TDTU’s Postgraduate Scholarship Program, providing new learning and development opportunities for the alumni community.
The gathering was not only an occasion for reunion and sharing but also served as a bridge between the University, the Faculty, and its alumni, fostering a strong, united, and ever-growing community that embodies and spreads the humanistic values of TDTU learners.
With the spirit of “Alumni Connect”, the FSSH firmly believes that each alumnus is a meaningful link, continuing to accompany and contribute to the sustainable development of both the University and the Faculty in the years ahead.
