"2nd Student Dialogue" Program for the 2024 Admission Course in Semester 1, Academic Year 2024-2025

On December 10, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Ton Duc Thang University successfully organized the "2nd Student Dialogue" program for the 2024 Admission Course in Semester 1 of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Attending the dialogue were Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong, Acting Dean; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Vice Dean; Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan, Dean’s Assistant; Dr. Le Thi Mai, Head of the Sociology Department; MSc. Nguyen Hieu Tin, Deputy Head of the Tourism Department and in charge of the Tourism Department; Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao, Deputy Head of the Tourism Department; MSc. Pham Thai Son, Deputy Head of the Tourism Department at the Khanh Hoa Branch; MSc. Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh, in charge of the Social Work Department; and MSc. Dong Thi Huong, in charge of the Vietnamese Studies Department. The dialogue was also attended by lecturers, faculty officials, and students from the 28th cohort. Additionally, the program was honored by the presence of Mr. Vu Pham Tin from the Department of Student Affairs, who shared important information with students about the school’s rules and regulations.

Prior to the Faculty-level session, students participated in Department-level dialogues chaired by Department Leaders, where they had the opportunity to raise professional concerns and receive career orientation guidance.

The Faculty-level dialogue began with opening remarks from Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong, who emphasized the purpose and significance of the dialogue activities. She highlighted that the program serves as a platform for the Faculty Board to understand students’ thoughts and aspirations while gathering feedback to improve training quality and learner services.

Following the opening remarks, Ms. Tran Phuong Nhung, Academic Affairs Officer of the Faculty, provided updates and reminders regarding academic matters. Mr. Bui Le Tuan Anh, Student Affairs Assistant, addressed topics related to student affairs, school policies, scholarships, and university regulations.

The "2nd Student Dialogue" program for Semester 1, Academic Year 2024-2025, for the 2024 Admission Course, concluded successfully. It created a valuable opportunity for open communication between faculty members and students and reinforced the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities’ commitment to continuously improving academic and student support services.
