Acceptance Meeting of Collegiate Scientific Research Projects amongst Students within academic years 2020-2021 - Scientific Council of Faculties of Social Sciences & Humanities, and Foreign Languages

On July 22, 2021, the Council of Faculties of Social Sciences & Humanities (FSSH), and Foreign Languages (FFL) held an Acceptance Meeting of Collegiate Scientific Research Projects amongst Students (CSRPAS) conducted between 2020 and 2021. The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities boast their students’ high participation which occupies three quarters of the project totality. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic outbreak and compliance with the Government’s Directive 16 on social distancing, the Acceptance Meeting was held online via Google Meeting in the morning of the same day.

The Acceptance Council of FSSH and FFL includes Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa (Chairman of the Council), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Mai (Member of the Council) and Dr. Nguyen Hoa Binh (Member and Secretary of the Council).

As a result, FSSH won two First Prizes and one Consolation Prize. Furthermore, the research results of four projects have been highly appraised by the Council in terms of theory and practice; therefore, the Council has proposed these four research projects for participation in Student Scientific Research Award - Eureka 2021.

It is hoped that with tremendous efforts and passion for scientific research, the defense sessions of three student research projects of FSSH will be accomplished and potentially winning the Student Science Research Award - Euréka 2021.

The promotion of the Scientific Research among students indicates that FSSH has been in active involvement in the University’s Research Plan as well as fulfilling Ton Duc Thang University’s goal as a research university in the future.
