Bravery - Confidence - Success of Tourism Department students from a competition

From 08th to 16th, October 2019, representatives student of Tourism Department, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University participated in the Open Tour Guide BenThanh Tourist Open Tour Guide Contest 2019. The contest with more than 100 participants from universities and colleges specialized in Tourism training in Ho Chi Minh city. This is also an activity in the series of events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Ben Thanh Company.

In the semi-final round, candidates must go through 2 sections of multiple choice and difficult essays. However, student of Tourism Department from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University had finished successfully, with 5 finalists. In the final round, the contestants undergo the tests: explanation of the destination, answering questions and answers from the judges, handling situations and talents. As a result, these students have achieved some achievements such as:

Domestic table: 1 Second prize of student Tong Thi Hong Dao, 1 Consolation prize of student Nguyen Thi Thanh Tra.
Inbound Table: 1 Third Prize for student Nguyen Thanh Nam, 2 Consolation prizes for Mach Ba Khang and Tran Hieu Nghia.
Through the competition, the students were tried with real situations, cultivated more knowledge and professional skills, to serve the future.
