Bridging Theory and Practice with the Tourism Management Practice Course

From December 16 to 19, 2024, the Tourism Department successfully organized a field practice as part of the Tourism Management Practice course, drawing the participation of 115 students. The program was conducted at two renowned destinations: Nha Trang and Da Lat.

Prior to the trip, students attended 15 hours of theoretical classes, where lecturers provided guidance on designing tour itineraries, arranging essential services, and organizing activities effectively.

During the field trip, students were divided into specialized teams, including media, event management, and operations. Under the dedicated supervision of lecturers and professional tour guides, each team diligently and creatively fulfilled their assigned responsibilities. Practical activities such as itinerary management, event organization, problem-solving, and customer communication enabled students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios while enhancing their professional skills in the tourism sector.

Additionally, the program offered students valuable opportunities to develop creative thinking, a sense of responsibility, and adaptability in real-world environments. This experience marked a significant milestone in bridging academic theory with practical application, further advancing the university’s tourism training program.
