Closing ceremony of the Short-Term Study Program for Students from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand
On the afternoon of May 24, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a closing ceremony for the short-term study program for students from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University (NPRU), Thailand. This short-term program took place over one month, from April 29 to May 26, 2024, to enhance educational cooperation and cultural exchange between the two universities.
During the program, NPRU students had the opportunity to participate in various academic and extracurricular activities. Classroom sessions on conversational English and Vietnamese culture enabled students to broaden their knowledge and gain deeper insights into Vietnam's land and people. Additionally, students engaged in group discussions and exchanges with Vietnamese students, creating a lively and exciting international learning environment.
Beyond theoretical lessons, the program included practical field trips to historical sites and famous landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta. These excursions provided NPRU students with cultural experiences of the local area, fostering a stronger connection to the S-shaped land of Vietnam.
After the program, NPRU students expressed their deep gratitude for TDTU's enthusiasm and thoughtfulness and the friendliness and hospitality of TDTU students. This significant event contributed to strengthening the cooperative relationship between NPRU and TDTU.
It is hoped that the memorable experiences from this program will inspire students in their future academic and research endeavors. We look forward to welcoming many more international student groups to our short-term study programs in the future.
