Connect 2024: Alumni and Students Meeting and Discussion Program

On September 21, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the "Connect 2024: Alumni and Students Meeting and Discussion Program". The program aimed to build a bridge between generations of students, helping current students gain practical experiences while fostering opportunities for exchange and connection within their field of study.

The event was attended by alumni from various fields, along with the Faculty Board, lecturers, staff, and more than 40 students. At the beginning of the program, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, a representative of the Faculty Board, delivered an opening speech, highlighting the importance of maintaining connections between generations of students and the invaluable support alumni can bring to both the University and current students.

Next, MSc. Huynh Thi Anh Hong - Head of Alumni Affairs of the Faculty, presented a reported on activities in the 2023 - 2024 academic year and directions for activities in the new 2024 - 2025 academic year.

The panel discussion attracted special attention when alumni shared their career journeys, challenges in their studies and work, as well as valuable practical experiences to achieve success. These inspirational stories gave current students a clearer understanding of their potential career paths and future aspirations.

In addition to sharing experiences, the program featured a lively exchange with students, who asked questions and received valuable advice on academics, career orientation, and how to develop soft skills and language proficiency—key factors in today’s job market.

The program concluded with a heartfelt expression of gratitude from the Faculty representative to the alumni, along with a commitment to continue organizing meaningful activities that connect generations of students. This program not only served as a platform for exchange but also as an important stepping stone, inspiring students with greater confidence and motivation to pursue their future goals.
