Contest of Communication initiatives to help migrant workers access education and health services in Ho Chi Minh City
In the framework of the cooperation program between the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Social Development & Training Center (SDTC), on September 4th, 2020 at Ton Duc Thang University, a Contest of Communication initiatives to help migrant workers access education and health services in Ho Chi Minh City have been taken. The jury of the contest includes:
- Mr. Pham Truong Son, Deputy Director of LIN Center for Community Development
- Mr. Tran Trieu Ngoa Huyen, Director of Center for Research and Support for Community Health (CCHS)
- Mr. Tran Hien, Communication Specialist, Center for Cooperation and Action for Environment and Development (CHANGE)
At the contest, 03 best teams entered the round of commentary and criticism in front of the judges and attendees. The final result: The student team of Social Work of Ton Duc Thang University competed impressively when winning the dual prize: First Prize and the Most Favorite Initiative Award. The Second Prize went to the 2T Team and the Third Prize went to the SW-HCE Contest team from the Economic College of Ho Chi Minh City.
A contest of Communication initiatives to help migrant workers access education and health services in Ho Chi Minh City is one of the components of LAMICO Project implemented by the Social Development & Training Center with funding from the Justice Initiative Support Fund (JIFF) and the Oxfam Foundation in Vietnam.
