Cultural exchange program with Diponegoro University, Indonesia and Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand
To provide opportunities for faculty members and students to engage with the international environment and to promote the image of Ton Duc Thang University with foreign partners, on the morning of May 6, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) and the Faculty of Law cooperated to organize a cultural exchange program for faculty members and students of Diponegoro University, Indonesia, and Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand.
From Diponegoro University, Indonesia, Associate Professor Wido Pranaing Tyas - Head of the Master's program in Regional and Urban Planning, along with Ms. Landung Esariti and 48 students attended; From Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand, Ms. Khanittha Chetupon - Deputy Director, and Ms. Phattareeya Sukprasert - Deputy Director of the Language Institute, along with 28 students participated. From Ton Duc Thang University, there were Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach - Director of International Cooperation, Research, and Training Institute; Ms. Pham Thi Ha Thuong - Acting Dean of FSSH; Mr. Chau Bao Anh - Deputy Dean of the Law Faculty, along with respected faculty members, department heads, lecturers, and over 40 students from both faculties.
The program was divided into two parts:
The first part in room A403 featured presentations on Vietnamese coffee culture by Mr. Nguyen Duc Long and the topic "The role of state management agencies in the protection and sustainable exploitation of marine resources - a model in Thanh An island commune" presented by Ms. Le Thi Thuy Huynh.
The second part in hall F included cultural exchange activities and coffee-making instructions by faculty members and staff from both faculties.
