Cultural Exchange Program with International Students from the Outreach Vietnam Organization

On the morning of October 9, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) at Ton Duc Thang University successfully organized a cultural exchange program with the participation of 18 international volunteer students from the Outreach Vietnam Organization. This is one of the annual activities aimed at promoting connection, cultural exchange, and learning experiences between international and Vietnamese students.

Representing the FSSH were Ms. Pham Thi Ha Thuong, Acting Head of the Faculty, along with distinguished lecturers and 20 students from the department. Mr. Vo Thang Thuong, the coordinator of the Outreach Vietnam Organization, also participated.

The cultural exchange program with international volunteer students from Outreach Vietnam was led by Ms. Huynh Thi Anh Hong – a lecturer from the FSSH, through the specialized topic “Vietnamese Culinary Culture.” The event took place in a joyful and open atmosphere, with various engaging activities such as discussions on regional cuisine, community spirit, and Vietnamese food culture. Additionally, international students from various countries introduced their cultural identities and cuisines during the discussion, creating a warm and friendly environment for the program.

The event has opened up many opportunities for cooperation between the FSSH and the Outreach Vietnam Organization in the future, creating diverse experiences for students of the Faculty and international students. These efforts contribute to the comprehensive development of the younger generation in the context of globalization.
