Discussion on Academic Cooperation with Gyeongkuk National University, South Korea

On the afternoon of April 4, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), welcomed a delegation from Gyeongkuk National University (GKNU), South Korea, for a meeting to discuss potential collaboration between the two institutions.

Representing FSSH were Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong – Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang – Vice Dean; Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan – Dean’s Assistant, along with heads, deputy heads, and faculty representatives from various departments. From GKNU, the delegation included Professor Cheon Myoeng Hee – Director of the Center; Professor Choi Ho Bin – Head of Digital Center, and lecturers from the Faculty of Humanities.

During the meeting, held in a warm and open atmosphere, both sides exchanged ideas and discussed possible future collaborations. Key areas of cooperation include: joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programs, and co-organization of academic conferences, seminars, and workshops in the fields of humanities, culture, and language.

This visit laid an important foundation for strengthening academic ties between TDTU and GKNU, particularly in the field of social sciences and humanities – an area of shared strength and mutual interest.
