Education Malaysia, Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City visits the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University
On the afternoon of July 16, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), Ton Duc Thang University, hosted a meeting with the Education Malaysia, Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City.
Representing FSSH were Ms. Pham Thi Ha Thuong - Acting Dean of Faculty, Mr. Nguyen Minh Huan - Dean’s Assistant, Mr. Nguyen Hieu Tin - Deputy Head of Tourism Department, in charge of Tourism Department, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao - Deputy Head of Tourism Department, and other lecturers from the Tourism Department.
From the Education Malaysia, Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Azriey Mazlan - Consul of Education Malaysia Ho Chi Minh City, Consulate General of Malaysia, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhiem – Admin Assistant, Education Malaysia, were present.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed various topics, including: student exchange programs between Malaysian universities and FSSH students; direct and online lecturer exchanges; organizing online sharing sessions on tourism topics; welcoming Malaysian student groups to TDTU for short-term cultural exchange programs; the 2+2 joint programs; and cooperation in research and community projects related to social sciences. On this occasion, FSSH extended an invitation to Education Malaysia, Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City to attend the 3 rd International Conference on Innovations in the Social Sciences & Humanities (ISSH 2024), which will be held on July 26-27, 2024.
The meeting with the Education Malaysia, Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City opened up prospects for long-term cooperation between FSSH and Malaysian partners, promising many study and research opportunities for students and lecturers.
