Exchange short-course for TDTU students who are taught in 50% English and 100% English at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University in Thailand

The course objective is to provide students of 50% and 100% taught-in-English programs, who major in Tourism and Tourism Management, with the chance to engage in academic study and interaction with international professors. In order to implement the Student Exchange Cooperation Agreement at the faculty level, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Ton Duc Thang University has collaborated with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University in Thailand. This collaboration has taken place from October 23, 2023 to November 6, 2023 and involved 154 the 50% English program senior students and the 100% English program junior and senior ones. The course focuses on Strategy Management in Tourism and Toursim Management Practice 2.

In addition to theoretical in-class hours, students are provided with the chance to gain more knowledge about the culture, nation, and people of Thailand via cultural exchange events involving professors and students from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University. Students engage in practical lessons at the 4-star Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom hotel. They also get the opportunity to visit renowned landmarks and tourist attractions in Thailand, such as Wat Phra Pathom Chedi, Wat Arun, and the Royal Palace, etc. This program offers students the chance to engage in an international educational setting, enhancing their knowledge and specialized skills in a country renowned for its highly developed tourist sector in Southeast Asia.
