Exploring Ho Chi Minh City with Students from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University (Thailand)

As part of the short-term study program “English for Communication and Culture” hosted by Ton Duc Thang University, on the morning of June 7, 2025, a group of students from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University (Thailand) participated in a cultural and historical city tour to discover iconic landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City.

The tour introduced students to several architectural and historical highlights, including the Central Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Independence Palace, and Do Phu Café – a unique venue that combines a coffee space with a wartime memorabilia exhibition. At each stop, students were provided with engaging narratives and had the chance to interact, take photos, and capture memorable experiences.

This cultural excursion provided international students with deeper insights into the rich history, cultural heritage, and vibrant urban life of Ho Chi Minh City – a major economic and cultural center of Vietnam. It also served as a meaningful opportunity to foster connection and friendship between students of the two universities in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
