On October 23, 2026, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) convened a Faculty-level panel to review student research proposals for the 2026–2027 academic year in meeting room C010 at Ton Duc Thang University.

The review panel comprised Associate Professor Dr. Tran Xuan Binh, Chair (Sociology); Dr. Le Anh Vu, Vice Chair (Social Work); Dr. Chung Le Khang, Secretary (Vietnamese Studies); Dr. Le Thi Mai, Member (Sociology); and Dr. Duong Thi Minh Phuong, Member (Tourism Management, Tourism Policy, and Rural Sociology).

During the meeting, the panel examined and evaluated 24 research proposals submitted by students from the Faculty’s academic programs. The panel agreed to select 22 proposals deemed feasible and capable of development into student research projects for submission to the University for approval and implementation.

The review took place in an atmosphere of lively academic exchange, reflecting the students’ serious and creative approach to research and the care and support provided by their supervisors.

This marks an important first step in encouraging students to develop their research capabilities, connect theory with practice, and contribute new ideas to the social sciences and humanities.
