The two-month internship program welcomed two students from the United States: Seth Rollin Weeks from the University of Kansas and Sylvia Wairimu Kariu from the The University of Texas at San Antonio. During their internship at the Faculty, the students will support academic and research activities, participate in cultural exchange programs, and gain insights into Vietnam’s higher education environment and cultural context.

During the orientation program, the students were introduced to TDTU, the FSSH, internship-related regulations, and the tasks they will undertake throughout their internship period. They were also provided with information about the learning environment, local culture, and essential skills to help them adapt successfully to their internship experience in Vietnam.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong expressed her pleasure in welcoming the international students to the Faculty and emphasized that the internship program serves as a valuable opportunity to strengthen academic exchange, foster intercultural understanding, and advance the internationalization of the Faculty’s education and research activities.

The orientation program was conducted in a friendly and open atmosphere, providing a solid foundation for the international students as they begin their internships. It also contributes to strengthening cooperative relationships between the FSSH and its international partners in the fields of education and human resource development.
