Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Organizes a Sharing Session on “Guidelines for Developing Student Scientific Research Proposals”

On the afternoon of October 9, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) organized an online sharing session themed “Guidelines for Developing Student Scientific Research Proposals” via Google Meet.

The session was presented and facilitated by Dr. Le Hai Thanh, the Faculty’s Scientific Advisor, who has extensive experience in supervising and evaluating student research projects. The event attracted more than 50 faculty supervisors and representatives of student groups who had registered their research ideas for the 2025–2026 academic year.

In a lively and engaging academic atmosphere, Dr. Le Hai Thanh shared a wide range of practical insights, guiding students through the process of formulating a research topic, identifying research problems, defining objectives, research questions, and hypotheses, as well as designing a properly structured scientific proposal. He also analyzed common mistakes made in proposal writing and offered concrete suggestions and solutions to enhance the logical coherence, originality, and feasibility of student research.

The session served as an important preparatory step, helping student research groups refine their proposals in a professional and systematic manner, in readiness for the upcoming proposal evaluation round.

This activity reflects the Faculty’s strong commitment to supporting students in developing their research capabilities while fostering an academic spirit and encouraging creative thinking within the university’s student community.
