The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Participates in the 2026 Admissions Counseling Day – TDTU Open Day 2026
On March 28, 2026, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the 2026 Admissions Counseling Day (TDTU Open Day 2026) organized by Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). The event attracted more than 3,200 high school students from Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces.
This annual event aims to strengthen connections between the University and secondary education institutions, while providing students and parents with accurate and comprehensive information on academic majors, training programs, and future career orientations.
At the Faculty’s consultation booth, students and parents received direct guidance from academic staff on the Faculty’s training programs and majors, including Sociology, Social Work, Tour Guiding, Tourism Management, and International Relations (admissions for 2026). Information regarding the 2026 admission methods, as well as tuition fees and scholarship policies, was also provided. In addition, inquiries related to practical training, internships, and career opportunities after graduation were addressed in detail.
Notably, TDTU Open Day 2026 introduced an online consultation format via YouTube livestream, enabling students and parents who were unable to attend in person to engage and interact with faculty members. At the main stage, Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong, Dean of the Faculty, delivered an overview of the Faculty’s academic strengths, development orientation, and undergraduate programs for the 2026 intake. The presentation highlighted the interdisciplinary nature of the programs, their alignment with contemporary societal trends and international integration, and reaffirmed the Faculty’s commitment to training high-quality human resources that meet labor market demands in the context of digital transformation.
Concurrently, at the online consultation booth, representatives of academic divisions and alumni actively engaged with participants, sharing academic and career experiences while providing detailed responses to audience inquiries. This activity not only delivered timely and accurate admissions information but also contributed to promoting the image of a dynamic, collaborative, and opportunity-rich academic environment at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University.
The event was successfully concluded, further strengthening the connection between the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular, and TDTU in general, with high schools, while effectively promoting the Faculty’s academic programs and dynamic learning environment to prospective students. Through this activity, the Faculty continues to affirm its role in admissions counseling, career orientation, and supporting students in their academic and future career pathways.
