Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Signs Scientific Research Cooperation Agreement with the International Center for Cultural Studies, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan)

As part of the 4th International Conference on Innovations in the Social Sciences and Humanities - 2026 (ISSH 2026) , the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), Ton Duc Thang University, held a Scientific Research Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony with the International Center for Cultural Studies, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) at 1:10 p.m. on June 12, 2026, in Room B010.

Representing the FSSH were Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Vice Dean; Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan, Assistant to the Dean; Dr. Le Thi Mai, Head of the Sociology Department; Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao, Deputy Head of the Tourism Department; MSc. Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh, Deputy Head and in charge of the Social Work Department; Dr. Pham Thai Son, Deputy Head of the Tourism Department at Khanh Hoa Campus; Dr. Dang Thi Kim Phung, Head of Global Inquiries and Social Theory Research Group; and Dr. John Hutnyk, Research Lecturer in the Sociology Department.

Representing the International Center for Cultural Studies, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, was Prof. Joyce C. H. Liu, Director of the Center.

During the meeting, the two parties exchanged views and discussed future directions for collaboration, focusing on promoting scientific research activities, developing joint research projects, strengthening academic exchange among lecturers and researchers, and expanding cooperation opportunities in the fields of social sciences, humanities, and cultural studies.

The signing of the cooperation agreement marks an important milestone in the internationalization of the Faculty’s research and academic activities. It contributes to strengthening international collaboration networks and provides a foundation for the development of interdisciplinary research programs and high-quality academic initiatives in the future.

The ceremony was conducted in a formal and open atmosphere, reflecting the commitment of both institutions to establishing a long-term, effective, and sustainable partnership.
