Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Students Publish Research in a WoS-Indexed Journal

Three students, To Tran Thanh Truc, Nguyen Minh Quy, and Bui Khanh Linh, under the supervision of Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan, have published a research article in SAGE Open, a journal indexed in the Web of Science (WoS). The article, entitled “Understanding Green Organizational Citizenship Behavior from an Employee’s Perspective: An Empirical Study Within the Context of Hotels in Ho Chi Minh City”, was published in 2025 by SAGE Publications.

The study seeks to clarify the role of green servant leadership in promoting green organizational citizenship behavior, defined as employees’ voluntary actions to protect the environment beyond their formal job requirements. Drawing on survey data from 389 employees at three- to five-star hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, the article examines the underlying mechanisms and the moderating role of a shared green vision within organizations. The findings offer managerial implications for hotels seeking to encourage environmentally friendly employee behavior, thereby contributing to sustainable development in the hospitality industry.

The research team previously won First Prize in the University-level Student Scientific Research Competition for the 2023–2024 academic year . Their continued refinement of the research and its publication in an international journal represent a commendable outcome of the students’ efforts and the support and guidance of their supervisor.

This achievement helps foster a spirit of scientific inquiry among students in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, encouraging them to apply their knowledge to practical problems and pursue high-quality research outputs.
