The hybrid project program with Mahidol University, Thailand

Within the framework of promoting the development of international student cooperation and exchange programs to foster the creation of favourable conditions for international students to study and learn about Vietnamese culture, country, and people, as well as facilitate allowing faculty students to exchange and study with international students, on the morning of February 6th, 2023, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) cooperated with Mahidol University held an orientation session in the content of the hybrid project program with the theme “Wellness and Eco-tourism”.

The program is divided into two stages:

- February 1st-3rd, 2023: Mahidol University lecturers used Zoom meetings to communicate the topics of eco-tourism, community-based tourism, associated financial concerns, and budget for tourism development investment.

- February 6th-8th, 2023: Lecturers of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities conveyed the contents of policies on tourist operation management, human resource management, and eco-tourism product development directly at Ton Duc Thang University.

This program drew the involvement of 04 lecturers and 19 students from Mahidol University in Thailand, as well as 18 students from undergraduate programs in English language, major Vietnamese Studies in Tourism and Tourism Management. The initiative has resulted in several new collaboration partnerships and potential collaboration opportunities between the two universities.
