Inspiring Academic Passion Through the 2026 Student Scientific Research Seminar at Khanh Hoa Campus

With the aim of creating an in-depth academic forum and providing research methodology orientation for students majoring in Tourism, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) successfully organized the seminar entitled “Student Scientific Research” at Khanh Hoa Campus on May 8, 2026.

The seminar served not only as a platform for exchanging research outcomes but also as an opportunity for students to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the integration of theory with the realities of the modern tourism industry.

The program was conducted in a formal and engaging atmosphere with the participation of Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong – Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, together with experienced lecturers and researchers, including Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan – Assistant to the Dean; MSc. Nguyen Hieu Tin – Deputy Head and in charge of the Tourism Department; Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao –Deputy Head of the Tourism Department; Dr. Dr. Pham Thai Son – Deputy Head of the Tourism Department at Khanh Hoa Campus; Dr. Hoang Thi Van – Assistant for Student Scientific Research of the Faculty; and M.A. Nguyen Quynh Anh – Probationary Officer and distinguished alumna who previously won First Prize at the Euréka Student Scientific Research Award. The seminar also welcomed the participation of more than 60 Tourism students at Khanh Hoa Campus.

During the seminar, students were provided with important guidance on scientific research, ranging from transforming ideas into feasible research topics and selecting research themes aligned with current trends to effectively applying technology and artificial intelligence while still ensuring academic ethics. In addition, students received practical advice on teamwork skills, group coordination, selecting academic supervisors, and developing research plans.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the sincere advice and encouragement from the lecturers inspired confidence among students as they prepare their upcoming scientific research proposals. The seminar is expected to serve as an important stepping stone for Tourism students at Khanh Hoa Campus to achieve outstanding results in forthcoming scientific research activities.
