InterContinental Nha Trang – A Destination for Tourism Students to Gain Hands-on Professional Experience

In 2026, the hotel welcomed 21 students enrolled in the Professional Practice Course and two students undertaking the Professional Internship Course. These opportunities enabled students to gain insights into hotel operations, service procedures, and the professional working environment of a five-star hotel.

Reflecting on her experience, student Lien Hoa shared that she had the opportunity to participate in the hotel’s orientation programme, assist with employee documentation, and support various hotel events. “Although one month was a relatively short period, it provided me with many valuable experiences, strengthened my confidence, and deepened my passion for the field I am pursuing”, she said.

Meanwhile, student Phúc Duy was particularly impressed by the hotel staff’s professionalism, service attitude, and effective coordination across departments. He noted that the experience helped students recognise that professionalism in the hospitality industry is demonstrated not only through technical competence but also through attitude, communication, teamwork, and the ability to respond effectively to different situations.
