International Conference on Tourism and Marine Tourism - TMT 2017

On the morning of August 1, 2017, at Hall 10, Ton Duc Thang University, the International Conference on Tourism and Tourism - TMT 2017 was officially opened. The workshop was co-organized by Ton Duc Thang University with Penghu National University of Taiwan, attracting the participation of many scientists, experts and students from UK, Austria, Australia, USA, Canada, Mongolia, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

TMT 2017 is a forum for discussing the socio-economic impacts of tourism in general and marine tourism in particular among researchers, practitioners, tourism businesses, etc. in Vietnam and all over the world. This event offered lessons on marine tourism model development, visitor experiences; Encouraging education and environmental protection, the impacts of tourism development on the socio-economic and life of local residents; The need of the community for sustainable tourism development. The workshop featured 18 papers, covering sustainable tourism and world tourism potential. Accepted papers will be published into the Proceedings of the TMT 2017 Conference, with ISBN 978-0-9945391-2-0 from the Australian ISBN Agency, published by Ton Duc Thang University.

This is the first international conference in the field of tourism at Ton Duc Thang University, promoting the improvement of the quality of international research and publication in the field of social sciences and humanities.
