Lecturer meeting program, Business cooperation signing and Business Matching Seminar in the academic year 2023-2024

On the morning of November 11, 2023, at Hall 10F, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly organized the Lecturer Meeting Program, Business Cooperation Signing, and Business Connection Seminar for the academic year 2023-2024. This is an opportunity to summarize the FSSH's year of activities and, at the same time, to honor the contributions, cooperation, and support from the TDTU's leaders, permanent lecturers, visiting lecturers, agencies, businesses, and alumni in the past year. The program is also one of the practical and meaningful activities to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day (20/11/1982–20/11/2023).

The program is honored to welcome the presence of Assoc. On this occasion, FSSH would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to the leaders of TDTU for their constant attention, direction, and orientation in the faculty's training, research, and international collaboration efforts. At the same time, the faculty, staff, and students would like to express their gratitude to all lecturers who have served as faculty leaders over the years, as their contributions have helped to construct, mold, and develop FSSH into what it is today. FSSH has shown gratitude to the lecturers, businesses, and alumni who have supported and accompanied FSSH in its operations.

Also at the program, FSSH signed cooperation agreements with Viettourist Holdings Joint Stock Company, Vietluxtour Travel Joint Stock Company, the Center for Research and Support for Public Health, the Trade Union Social Work Center, and the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor, which also strengthened the Alumni Liaison Committee.

At the seminar session "Business Connection", the guests included Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Chau, Deputy Director of the Center for Environment and Development Studies, Southern Institute of Social Sciences, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences; Ms. Truong Hong Uyen, Head of Group Sales Department, Saigontourist Travel Service One Member Limited Liability Company; and Mr. Chau Hoang Man, Director of the Research Center for Social Work Consultancy and Community Development, who shared their experiences as well as the possibility of career opportunities for students of FSSH. And ideally, in the near future, training links will be incorporated into many more fields and at a deeper level. Examples include: tying science and technology transfer to research topics and projects; offering feedback on training programs and hosting professional competitions; sponsoring scholarships; and establishing policies that allow faculty members to work at businesses and agencies …

The program concluded successfully and made a lasting impression on the attendees.
