MOU Signing Ceremony between the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts – Ton Duc Thang University, and the Faculty of Fashion and Tourism – Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering

On May 21, 2026, at Meeting Room B, Ton Duc Thang University, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony was held between the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts – Ton Duc Thang University, and the Faculty of Fashion and Tourism – Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering.

Attending the ceremony, representatives from the Faculty of Fashion and Tourism – Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice Dean (Head of Delegation); Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Chau – Vice Dean; Dr. Nguyen Xuan Tra – Head of the Fashion Design Department; and M.A. Le Mai Kim Chi – Head of the Restaurant Management Department. Representing the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities – Ton Duc Thang University were Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong – Dean; Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan – Assistant to the Dean; MSc. Nguyen Hieu Tin – Deputy Head and in charge of the Tourism Department; Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao – Deputy Head of the Tourism Department; Dr. Pham Thai Son – Deputy Head of the Tourism Department at Khanh Hoa Campus. Representing the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts – Ton Duc Thang University were M.A. PhD Candidate Hoang Le Duy – Acting Dean; M.A. Nguyen Thi Thuy Van – Assistant to the Dean; M.A. PhD Candidate Nguyen Hong Khiem – Head of the Fashion Design Department; together with lecturers from the three faculties.

During the meeting, representatives of the participating faculties shared their development orientations and emphasized the importance of collaboration in training, research, and strengthening the connection between higher education institutions and professional practice in the context of ongoing higher education innovation. The discussion and cooperation exchange sessions took place in an active and constructive atmosphere, covering a wide range of practical contents such as co-organizing scientific conferences and academic exchange activities; developing collaborative training programs; coordinating internship and practical training activities for students; promoting interdisciplinary research initiatives among tourism, fashion, and industrial fine arts; as well as enhancing community engagement and enterprise connection activities.

The signing ceremony was conducted in a formal yet open atmosphere, marking a new milestone in the cooperative relationship among the participating faculties. This collaboration is expected to serve as an important foundation for promoting training, research, and the development of high-quality human resources in the coming years, while also creating additional opportunities for learning, practical experience, and career development for students of the two universities in the future.
