Online exchange program on "Ecotourism and its impact on the environment" with Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University (NPRU), Thailand
Following the successful completion of the first exchange program with the theme "Vietnam - Thailand Culture and Tourism" in 2021, on January 10, 2022 at the Conference room on the 5th floor of the Library of Ton Duc Thang University, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Environment & Labour Safety in collaboration with Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University (NPRU), Thailand organized an online exchange program with the theme "Ecotourism and its impact on tourism" with more than 150 students from NPRU.
The content of the online exchange program is organized into two parts:
The first part deals with community-based ecotourism, discussing case studies in Ta Lai (Nam Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai) and Nua village (Con Cuong district, Nghe An province).
The second part deals with the impact of tourism on the environment, the problems that localities are facing with the environment as well as proposes some solutions to protect the environment sustainably.
The program has opened up many new cooperation relationships between the two universities as well as future cooperation prospects.
