Opening of The 2nd International Conference on Innovations in the Social Sciences and Humanities – 2021

On the morning of December 17, 2021, The 2nd International Conference on Innovations in The Social Sciences & Humanities 2021- ISSH 2021) was opened at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

The conference was coordinated by TDTU with international partners including: University of the South Pacific, Jadavpur University in India, Higher School of Economic University Moscow in Russia, Pratt Institute in USA, Purdue University Northwest in USA, and the Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research.

In addition to the delegates who are experts from the United States, Europe and Australia, ISSH Conference 2021 also has the participation and presentation of delegates from Asian countries such as: Vietnam, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines,... Given the diversity of participants and research topics, the academic debates at ISSH 2021 will shed light on why new research methods, interdisciplinary are needed in the field of social sciences and humanities.

Compared to The 1st ISSH conference held in 2019, the number of research papers presented at ISSH 2021 has doubled. The conference program will take place on December 17 and 18, 2021 with 11 sessions and 75 research papers presented and discussed.
