Orientation Session for the Short-Term Exchange Programme for Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia) Students

On the morning of January 29, 2026, at Room B010, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), organized an orientation session for students from Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia) participating in the short-term exchange programme under the framework of “CrossBridge 2026: Connecting Young Diplomats of ASEAN”, which took place from January 28, 2026 to February 1, 2026.

Attending the orientation session on behalf of the FSSH were Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong – Dean; Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan – Dean’s Assistant; Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao – Deputy Head of the Tourism Department, Dr. Pham Thai Son, Deputy Head of the Tourism Department at the Khanh Hoa Branch; and MSc. Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh, in charge of the Social Work Department. Representing Universiti Teknologi MARA were Dr. Muhammad Aiman bin Awalludin – Head of Delegation; Dr. Mohd Ramlan bin Mohd Arshad – Lecturer; and Dr. Raja Mayang Delima binti Mohd Beta – Lecturer, together with 15 students participating in the programme.

The orientation session aimed to provide students with an overview of the academic content, activity schedule, and the organization of classes and academic exchange sessions throughout the programme. In addition, students were introduced to the learning environment, regulations, and academic culture at TDTU.

As an important opening activity, the orientation session helped students prepare effectively for their participation in the programme, while further strengthening and developing the cooperative relationship between the two universities in the future.
