Program “Meeting with Students at the Beginning of Academic Year 2025–2026” and Seminar “Identifying High-Tech Scams and Response Solutions”

On the morning of August 14, 2025, at Hall 2A, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), organized the program “Meeting with Students at the Beginning of Academic Year 2025–2026” and the seminar “Identifying High-Tech Scams and Response Solutions.”

The program opened with the introduction of the Faculty Board, lecturers from various departments, newly appointed staff, and invited guests. Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong, Dean of FSSH, delivered a welcoming speech to students returning after the summer break. In her remarks, she reviewed the outstanding achievements of faculty members and students in the 2024–2025 academic year and outlined key tasks and priorities for the new academic year.

The highlight of the program was the seminar “Identifying High-Tech Scams and Response Solutions,” presented by Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Nhut, Senior Lecturer at the People’s Police University. Students were provided with essential knowledge to identify various forms of high-tech scams in the online environment, gain a clear understanding of potential risks, and acquire preventive measures and response strategies to protect themselves and their families.

Following the seminar, the Faculty Board engaged in a direct dialogue with students, listening to, acknowledging, and responding to their feedback and suggestions regarding teaching activities and academic support.

On this occasion, FSSH also commended 53 students for their outstanding achievements and significant contributions to faculty activities during the 2024–2025 academic year, presenting them with certificates of merit in recognition of their efforts.

The program concluded in a warm and vibrant atmosphere, leaving a strong impression and inspiring students to begin the new academic year with enthusiasm, safety, and effectiveness.
