Seminar on “Developing High-Quality Human Resources in Tourism to Meet Business Needs” and Enterprise Partnership Signing Ceremony for the Academic Year 2024–2025 in Khanh Hoa
On May 17, 2025, the Khanh Hoa Campus of Ton Duc Thang University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, organized a seminar titled “Developing High-Quality Human Resources in Tourism to Meet Business Needs” and hosted the Enterprise Partnership Signing Ceremony for the academic year 2024–2025. The event aimed to strengthen collaboration between the university and businesses in education, practical training, and human resource development in the tourism sector, while also promoting local career opportunities.
The event was honored by the presence of esteemed guests. Representing the leadership of high schools in Khanh Hoa Province were Mr. Truong Minh Trinh – Principal of Ly Tu Trong High School; Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc – Vice Principal of Hoang Van Thu High School; and Mr. Tran Huy Thong – Vice Principal of Ha Huy Tap High School. From the leadership of the Khanh Hoa Campus, Dr. Pham Hai Chien – Assistant to the Campus Director – attended the event. Representing the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities were Dr. Pham Thi Ha Thuong – Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Nguyen Minh Huan – Assistant Dean; Mr. Nguyen Hieu Tin – Deputy Head of the Tourism Department, in charge of Tourism Department, Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao – Deputy Head of the Tourism Department; and Dr. Pham Thai Son – Deputy Head of the Tourism Department at the Khanh Hoa Campus. The event also welcomed many reputable enterprises operating in the service and tourism industries in the region.
During the seminar session, guest speakers delivered insightful presentations on the labor market and trends in the tourism and hospitality sectors. Mr. Laurent Myter, General Manager of The Anam Cam Ranh Resort, presented on “Career Opportunities in the Hospitality Industry and Global Tourism Trends”. Mr. Dang Quang Nhan, Human Resources Director of Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh, shared insights on “Niche Sectors and the Demand for High-Quality Human Resources in International Hotels”. Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao, Vice Head of the Department of Tourism, presented on “Collaboration in Tourism Human Resource Training at Ton Duc Thang University”. Following the presentations, Mr. Nguyen Hieu Tin facilitated an interactive discussion session between the speakers and students, allowing students to ask questions, engage in dialogue, and gain practical insights.
