Signed cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City Children's Rights Protection Association

On December 27, 2019, at the Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), a signing ceremony between TDTU and Ho Chi Minh City Children's Rights Protection Association was held.

Attending the signing ceremony were Ms. Mai Thi Ngoc Mai, Head of the Southern Standing Committee of Vietnam Child Protection Association, President of Ho Chi Minh City Childrent's Rights Protection Association; Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice President of TDTU; together with the heads and members of the Ho Chi Minh City Childrent's Rights Protection Association and lecturers of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH).

In particular, some of media agents have come to work and report on the event: HTV, Security Television, Vietnam News Agency, Education Newspaper, Social Labor Newspaper, Red Tie Newspaper.

Under the agreement, the two sides will carry out cooperation programs in training, research, technology transfer as well as prioritizing the recruitment of students graduate from TDTU.

Immediately after the signing ceremony, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Sciences will coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Childrent's Rights Protection Association to implement the following modules: Personal social work practice, Community social work practice, and Career apprenticeship for Sociology and Social Work students. Experts and a wide network of members of the Association will be a good practice environment for students to apply their professional knowledge and skills.

The cooperation between TDTU and Ho Chi Minh City Childrent's Rights Protection Association continues to affirm the philosophy that  theoretical and practical always go hand in hand.
