Signing a cooperation agreement for a student exchange program with NPRU University, Thailand

On the afternoon of September 26, 2023, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) and the Department of Foreign Languages at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a cooperative agreement for a student exchange program with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University (NPRU) in Thailand.

Representing Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University were Dr. Nipon Chuamuangphan, Head of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Dr. Jittrapon Soontorn, Deputy Dean; Dr. Patcharamon Tosurat, Associate Dean; Ms. Areerat Fakyen, Head of the Tourism Department; and Ms. Tiranan Pratum, a lecturer in the Tourism Department.

On the side of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), there were Ms. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, in charge of Foreign Languages Faculty; Ms. Pham Thi Ha Thuong, Acting Dean of FSSH; Mr. Nguyen Hieu Tin, Deputy Head - in charge of the Tourism Department; and Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Dao, Deputy Head of the Tourism Department.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. Nipon Chuamuangphan expressed admiration for TDTU's educational environment and academic achievements. He also expressed delight at the shared goal of advancing education in line with international integration.

The heads of FSSH and the Department of Foreign Languages at TDTU also expressed their hope for a long-lasting and sustainable collaboration, contributing to the enhancement of educational quality to meet societal workforce demands.

According to the agreement, both parties will collaborate to implement a student exchange program, providing students from both institutions with the opportunity to engage in cross-cultural learning, experience diverse cultures, grasp global trends in academic fields, and better orient themselves toward future careers.
