Sociology Alumni Meeting Program “Talk And Share”

On the morning of May 25th, the Sociology Alumni Meeting Program “Talk And Share” took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere among generations of Sociology students at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

The “Talk And Share” program featured the participation of four Sociology alumni: Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nuong (Director of the Cherishing Life Program, Vinacapital Foundation), Mr. Le Quang Trieu (Specialist at the Center for Socio-Economic Simulation and Forecasting, Ho Chi Minh City Development Research Institute), Ms. Hoac Tho Le (Project Officer at the Institute for Development Communication Research), and Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Xuan (Teacher at GAIA Education Joint Stock Company).

From the Sociology Department, there was the participation of Dr. Le Thi Mai (Head of the Department), Associate Professor Tran Xuan Binh, Dr. Dang Thi Kim Phung, and Msc. Nguyen Phuong Thao.

The alumni shared many valuable insights about their real-world professional experiences and created connections regarding job opportunities for students.

After the discussion, students and alumni participated in engaging games, providing knowledge about the University, Faculty, and Department.

Additionally, the alumni awarded three scholarships to deserving students, motivating them in their academic pursuits.

The Sociology Alumni activities are organized annually to foster interaction and connection between different generations of students.
