Last 5th July, 2019, 56 students who are learning in Travel and Tourism Management of high quality students course 21st, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University had landed from Thailand after one month study and pratical training at Faculty of Social Science and Humanity, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand (NPRU).

Study programme and practical training abroad of high quality students course 21st  from 10th June, 2019 to 5th July, 2019 in  Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand

Last 5th July, 2019, 56 students who are learning in Travel and Tourism Management of high quality students course 21st, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University had landed from Thailand after one month study and pratical training at Faculty of Social Science and Humanity, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand (NPRU). Thanks to the international cooperation between the two faculties (Faculty of SSH – TDTU and Faculty of SSH – NPRU) has created conditions which gave the opportunity to learn and experience for students that helps them get a realistic overview about tourism industry in Thailand. The short-term abroad programme is held within 26 days from June 10th, 2019 to July 5th, 2019.

The short-term programme which were included three subjects:

  • Consumer Behavior in Hospitality and Tourism
  • Technology Strategies in Hospitality and Tourism
  • Achieving Quality Customer in Hospitality Industry

Students were taught by experienced lecturers at this university, besides that lecturers who have a long-term practical experience are invited to share knowledge for Vietnamese lectures and students. They learned all the subjects and communicating in English that helps Vietnamese students improving their foreign language and communication skills.

After hard-studying weeks, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University was also held many realistic activites for students having opportunity to interact, share the experience and knowledge both of students university. NPRU was organized the field trips to famous tourist destinations in Thailand for Vietnamese students.

In addition, students had opportunity to learned more about Thai culture and ways to develop tourism in Thailand. They are very valuable and important knowledge for Vietnamese students to learn and apply to the tourism industry in Vietnam when they back their country later. And that is also the valuable points of their study abroad trip. Moreover, the trip brought to students the good memories with together, it is not only about building good relationship members in classes but also building good relationship with international friends. They could have a great time to share their experience and cultural exchange with international friends within a month. This is a sufficient time to keep for them with beautiful feelings and good memories about the study abroad trip in Thailand.
