Successful Organization of the Faculty-Level Student Scientific Research Evaluation Council for the Academic Year 2024 - 2025

On the morning of June 6, 2025, at 7:30 AM, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), Ton Duc Thang University, successfully held the Faculty-Level Student Scientific Research Evaluation Council for the academic year 2024–2025 at meeting room B010.

The Evaluation Council comprised the following members:

- Dr. Le Hai Thanh, Academic Advisor, FSSH, Ton Duc Thang University, Chairperson.

- Dr. Le Hong Vuong, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Tourism, Van Hien University, Vice Chairperson.

- Dr. Nguyen Phuc Hung, Dean, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Hung Vuong University in Ho Chi Minh City, Secretary.

- Dr. Le Thi Mai, Head of Sociology Department, FSSH, Ton Duc Thang University, Member.

- Dr. Pham Thanh Hai, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Social Work, University of Labour and Social Affairs (Campus II), Member.

The Council worked with high professionalism and objectivity, evaluating each project based on scientific merit and real-world applicability. A total of 13 student research projects were presented, addressing diverse and timely topics such as the impact of social media, sustainable tourism development, Generation Z behavior, digital transformation, and issues in social work.

Impressively, all 13 projects met the criteria for Faculty-level recognition. Among them, 07 outstanding projects were nominated to advance to the University-Level Student Scientific Research Evaluation Council, scheduled for July 2025. This provides an excellent opportunity for students to further develop their research and academic potential.

In addition to their assessments, the Council offered valuable, constructive feedback, including suggestions to improve research structure, enhance theoretical frameworks, and increase practical relevance. These comments served not only to improve the current projects but also to help students refine their academic research skills.

The evaluation session highlighted the academic rigor, creativity, and sense of social responsibility among FSSH students. With these promising results, the nominated projects are expected to achieve high recognition at the upcoming University-level round.
