Talk show on the implementation of the subject of Vocational Practice and Internship (Sociology) at Enterprises

At 16.00-17.30 pm on Friday, June 23, 2022, the Department of Sociology cooperated with businesses to conduct a talk show on the implementation of the two courses:  Vocational Practice and Internship at enterprises. The discussion combines face-to-face mode in Room B106 and online mode via Google Meet. Attending the discussion, there were Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang (Deputy Dean), Dr. Le Thi Mai (Head of Sociology Department) and the department’s lecturers. On the enterprise side, there were MSc. Nguyen Thi Minh Chau (Southern Institute of Social Sciences), MSc. Nguyen Huu Binh (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, HCMC), Ms. Pham Hong Nga (Highland Coffee Service Joint Stock Company), and Ms. Pham Thi Linh (Center for International Integration Support). The guests and the lecturers discussed issues related to the situation of guiding students in Vocational Practice and Internship at enterprises, criteria for selecting and using employees of enterprises in the context of digital transformation, strengths and weaknesses of students majoring in sociology when doing internships and preparing students before participating in internships.
