TDTU Tourism Students Achieve Outstanding Results at the 6th Tourism and Culture Ambassador Competition 2026

On September 19, 2026, the final round of the 6th Tourism and Culture Ambassador Competition, organized by the Tourism and Culture Talent Incubator Project, took place in Ninh Binh Province.

Sponsored by Tam Chuc Tourism and Services Trading Company Limited, the project was launched in 2021 to nurture young talent in culture and tourism at universities and colleges across Vietnam. It provides students with foundational knowledge of culture and history, opportunities to develop their skills and creativity, and a setting in which to gain experience and connect with organizations, businesses, and experts from Vietnam and abroad.

In 2026, the project received registrations from 1,421 contestants representing 171 colleges and universities nationwide. Following the selection rounds, 100 contestants advanced to interviews held in northern and southern Vietnam. The top 40 then qualified for the final round. These figures reflect the competition’s nationwide reach and its ability to bring together students from tourism, culture, and other fields.

Four Tourism students from Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) reached the final round and achieved outstanding results:

Mai Khanh Huyen, majoring in Tourism and Travel, won First Prize with the team “Sac nguon Tan Hoa”, receiving VND 50 million.

Trinh Duy Quang, majoring in Tour Guiding, won Second Prize with the team “Am vang Xu dua”, receiving VND 30 million.

Tran Nhat Lien Hoa, majoring in Tourism and Travel at TDTU’s Khanh Hoa Campus, won Third Prize with the team “Diem khuc Sa Huynh”, receiving VND 20 million.

Tran Thi Hong Chau, majoring in Tourism and Tourism Management, won a Consolation Prize with the team “Det sac thien hoa”, receiving VND 10 million.
