Tourism and Tourism Management Students of Ton Duc Thang University Participate in the July 2026 Study and Exchange Program in Thailand
Continuing its international collaboration initiatives, from July 8 to July 13, 2026, 115 students enrolled in the High-Quality Program and the English-Taught Bachelor's Program, majoring in Tourism and Tourism Management at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), participated in a study and exchange program in Thailand.
As part of the program, the students attended courses at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University (NPRU), including Tourism Management Practice for students in the High-Quality Program and Tourism Management Practice I for students in the English-Taught Bachelor's Program. Under the guidance of NPRU lecturers, students enhanced their disciplinary knowledge through lectures, discussions, and presentations in an international learning environment.
In addition to academic activities, the program provided valuable opportunities for experiential learning through visits to tourism destinations in Pattaya and Bangkok. During these visits, students explored destination management models, hotel operations, and tourism management practices, enabling them to gain a more comprehensive understanding of tourism development and management in Thailand. They also gained hands-on experience with immigration procedures and learned practical approaches to handling situations that may arise while organizing and guiding international tour groups. These practical experiences contributed to strengthening students' professional competencies, adaptability, and readiness to work in an international environment.
The study and exchange program in Thailand enabled students to broaden their academic knowledge and practical understanding of tourism development and management while expanding their perspectives on culture, international learning environments, and professional practice. These valuable experiences not only provide additional motivation and direction for students' academic and career development but also reaffirm the effectiveness of the long-standing partnership between the two universities.
