Tourism Students Achieve Outstanding Results at the Sixth “Tour Guide Challenge” Competition in 2026

On September 6, 2026, the final round of the sixth “Tour Guide Challenge” competition, organized by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT), was successfully held. The competition concluded after nearly four months of activities and professional challenges. This year’s competition attracted more than 70 contestants from 18 universities and colleges, providing a vibrant academic and professional platform for students passionate about tour guiding.

In the final round, Vo Thi Ngoc Yen, a student in class 24030302 majoring in Tourism and Travel, excelled against fellow contestants and was crowned the competition’s champion. This outstanding achievement demonstrates her professional knowledge, practical skills, stage confidence, and passion for tour guiding as a student of Ton Duc Thang University. Meanwhile, Duong Hai Dang, a student in class 22030301 majoring in Tourism and Travel, also delivered an impressive performance, earning a place among the competition’s top nine contestants.

The achievements of these two students reflect their dedication to learning, practice, and the continuous development of their professional knowledge and skills. They also highlight the Faculty’s students’ active participation in professional activities, willingness to take on challenges, and determination to demonstrate their abilities in academic and professional competitions.
