Training Workshop on Writing Student Scientific Research Proposals for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

To support students in transforming research ideas into clearly oriented and feasible research topics, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a Training Workshop on Writing Student Scientific Research Proposals for the 2026-2027 Academic Year on 22 September 2026 in Room B209 at Ton Duc Thang University. The workshop attracted 75 students who participated both in person and online.

During the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Binh, Senior Lecturer of the Faculty, introduced and analyzed the core elements involved in developing a research proposal, with particular emphasis on formulating the research title, identifying the research problem, purpose, and objectives, as well as ensuring an appropriate structure, organization, and logical coherence among the proposal components. In addition, the speaker shared practical guidance to help students develop proposals that are clear, academically sound, and feasible to implement. Questions concerning research ideas, the identification of research directions, and proposal development were discussed in detail, providing students with a stronger basis for refining and further developing their research topics.

Through the program, students gained a stronger foundation for systematizing their ideas, completing their proposals, and preparing more effectively for the Faculty-level review of Student Scientific Research proposals, which is expected to take place in October 2026. This is an important preparatory step that contributes to improving the quality of Student Scientific Research projects and provides a solid foundation for students to conduct their research effectively during the 2026-2027 academic year.
