Welcome the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year

On August 24, 2023, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a meeting for more than 1200 students in Hall 2A to welcome the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year. After the introduction of the FSSH's lecturer and staffs in the academic year 2023-2024, M.A. Pham Thi Ha Thuong, Acting Dean of FSSH, delivered a speech, welcoming the students to return to school after the summer break, and summarizing the outstanding achievements of lecturers and students in the previous academic year and some key content in the new academic year.

At the meeting, FSSH’s Board Directors decided to award certificates to 03 students who achieved excellent results in off-campus academic competitions and 32 students who actively participated in activities that contributed to the development of FSSH. Besides, the honored students also received gifts from the regular sponsor, Hoa Linh Southern Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

In order for students to have more information about the training industry, M.A. Pham Thi Ha Thuong shared the key content students need to do, prepare for the start of the new school year, and emphasized that students should complete English courses, a factor in follow the training schedule and graduate on time.

Besides, the FSSH’s staff in charge of education and student affairs introduced new contents and reminded the TDTU's regulations, etc., so that students can remember and follow.

M.A. Pham Thi Ha Thuong also responded and highly appreciated the students' contributions to improve the service quality of the FSSH and TDTU in the academic year 2022-2023. She continues to look forward to receiving suggestions to improve the FSSH's activities in order to help and support students in the most timely manner.

On the discussion, the students make the questions related to overseas training courses, health insurance, accident insurance, study curiculum, etc. and were received by the FSSH’s Board of Directors.

Acting Dean of Faculty, Head of Department answered, gave advices, some issues not under the management of the faculty were also transferred to functional departments to support information for students. The last part of the meeting was a discussion with the Executive Board of the FSSH’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and FSSH Student Association. The participants were reported the results achieved in the previous academic year and implemented preparation activities for the 2023-2024 academic year. At the gathering, relaxing musical performances also were enthusiastically responded to by students.
