Welcoming new students of the 26th course, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities

On October 10, 2022, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a program to welcome new students of the 26th AY at 2A Ballroom in a joyful atmosphere to welcome the new school year.

To begin the program, new students watched a video about the 25-year process of establishing and developing the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Then, Master. Pham Thi Ha Thuong-Dean delivered a speech to welcome new students to the SSH house of the university named Former President Ton Duc Thang. New students were introduced lecturers who are leaders of departments shared the major’s features and learning orientations.

The welcome part of the Youth Union and the Student Union was begun by a video about how to use students’ information systems to look up and make transactions at university. Next, there was an exchange game with new students and an exciting Flash Mob performance by the staff of the union and the faculty. At the end of the exchange, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Faculty and the Executive Committee of the Faculty's Student Union launched and greeted the new students.

The final step was for new students to meet with their advisor in class. New students voted to choose their class monitor, leader of each group, and the Provisional Executive Committee of the Youth Union and Student Union to support learning, training, and mass activities at the Faculty and University.
