Workshop: Sustainable Tourism in MICE Sector

To create opportunities for students of the high-quality program majoring in Tourism and Tourism Management to have the chance to study and exchange with foreign lecturers, on the morning of May 17th, 2023, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University organized an online academic exchange with the topic “Sustainable Tourism in MICE Sector” by Dr. Sarinya Sungkatavat, Program Director - Master of Management Tourism and Hospitality Management Division, Mahidol University, Thailand.

With the experience of organizing more than 100 successful events in the US and Thailand, Dr. Sarinya Sungkatavat gave an overview for students to understand better the relationship between MICE stakeholders in sustainable development as well as sustainability standards in the field of MICE. Dr Sarinya Sungkatavat had close and open sharing and received direct student questions. This activity has opened up many cooperation opportunities between the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and Mahidol University shortly.
