APU students’ days at Ton Duc Thang University
From February 19 to March 10, 2018, the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language (Ton Duc Thang University) welcomed the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University students to the Winter Vietnamese Immersion Program.
Winter Vietnamese Immersion Program consists of three weeks of studying Vietnamese language and field trips in Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta and Phan Thiet.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the students visited several famous places such as Ben Thanh Market, the Museum of History...
While Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) gave them an exciting experience of a young, developing urban, the Mekong Delta offered receptiveness and honesty; then Phan Thiet brought them a different experience. In the sunshine at the land of pink sand and emerald sea, they enjoyed the full atmosphere of a typical coastal area in Vietnam.
