Workshop "Prison heritage at ConSon and Beyond"
Heritage tourism has become an important type of tourism in Vietnam. To exchange knowledge and experience in heritage tourism research and to share research ideas as a basis for international collaborative research on this subject, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the University of Nottingham Trent (UK) held the seminar ";Prison heritage at Con Son and beyond".
The workshop was attended by six speakers from Nottingham Trent University, Liverpool University, Canterbury ChristChurch University (The UK), and Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam). Speakers will present and discuss the general context of heritage tourism in the world and Vietnam, and the results of initial research on heritage tourism in Con Dao following a field trip from 3rd to 5th September 2018.
