- Knowing, understanding and be able to clearly describe the principles, categories and rules of dialectics and apply them in analyzing social reality;

- Understanding and implementing guidelines and policies of the State of Vietnam in specific tasks assigned;

- Understanding and using interdisciplinary knowledge and research methods;

- Knowledge of management, administration, law and environmental protection related to the field of social work;

- Understanding, knowing and applying about knowledge of National Defense and People's Security in the field of social work.
